Dr. Janette Sherman, a physicist and editor of "Chernobyl: Consequences of the Catastrophe for People and the Environment" by Drs. Alexey Yablokov, Alexey Nesterenko and Vassili Nesterenko, published in 2010 by the New York Academy of Sciences and noted how the WHO (World Heath Organization) must clear with the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency charged to accelerate and enlarge atomic energy use), any information it obtains on issues involving radioactivity, including Chronobyl impacts on human health.
