Ftizgerald, a graduate of Princeton University and the author of "The Great Gatasby" is among the greatests American writers. His wife, Zelda Sayre (1900-1948) or his "golden girl", was from Montgomery, Alabama and the daughter of an Alabama Supreme Court Judge. Since college days, Scott was a severe chronic alcoholic and died from heart disease. Zelda perished in a fire at the Highland Mental Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. Their grave is in the St. Marys Cemetery in Rockville, Maryland.
