BLUSHING - FLUSHING - PUDOR - PUBERTY

"Femme Nue", 1880 Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) Rodin Museum, Paris, France

Blushing and flushing point toward puberal pudor provoked by to the lack of a blouse to hide the blooms of telarchy (breast development). Currently it appears that environmental endocrine "disruptors" may be the cause of alterations of the tight correlation of telarchy with menarchy (onset of menses or menstrual cycles) - evidence is strong that girls develop telarchy at increasingly younger ages - such trend may be an indication of worrisome disruption of the cerebral-endocrine axis most likely due to pollutants - there also is evidence of an association of early telarchy with increased risk for breast cancer.
