NOTE: a knitted brow and compresed lips are suggestive of an inner struggle of a troubled mind. Demosthenes advocated resistance against Philip II of Macedonia. His opposition eventually forced him to commit suicide. Also, note the great similarity of this copy with another Roman copy at the National Archeology Museum in Athens, Greece.
