GIOVANNI BELLINI (c 1430 - 1516)
Leading Renaissance Painter
The Bellini family of Venetian painters included his father Jacopo and brother Gentile. Furthermore, his brother-in-law was Andrea Mantega. Many of his cardinal artistic creations perished due to fires and other disasters. His disciples included Titian who completed one of his most famoe creation "The Feast of the Gods" (c1514) held by the National Gallery of Art in Washington (please see related images).
