Nature Nurturing Nurse Nutrition

It is self evident that KISS and SALIVA have to do with LIP and TONGUE which in turn relate to NUTRITION, NURSING, NURTURING MOTHER, and ultimately with NATURE.
Kiss
SALIVA is an EXcretion of mucous glands, mainly by the PAROTID or "paraOTIC" gland located adjacent to the EAR. Other major salivary glands are below the tongue and the maxilla and are known as the sub LINGUAL and sub MAXILLARY or MANDIBULAR salivary glands.
After delivery from the MAtrix, MAternal instincts permit MAmmals to suck MAmmilary glands to MAterialize nutritious matter into the oral cavity to be swallowed, digested and assimilated as living MAtter.
The saliva is SLIMY because it contains MUCUS or MOCO in Spanish, which points to MOCOso or "kid". It is a fact that infants and young children are prone to have noses that "run" and lips that drool. Such propensity translates into many "kids" being "slimy" from excreted mucus and saliva.

Once in the oral cavity, nutrients, particularly if SUCCULENT, become SOAKed with saliva containing digestive ENZYMES. Properly chewed or MASTicated foods should virtually be of the consistency of SOUP or SOP. Because the saliva contains alpha aMYLase, it degrades INSIPID starch into sweet tasting MALtose or DEXTRIN. Note that MAST and MASTectomy signal a connection not only with  FAT and MAMMARY glands but also with chewing or MASTicar in Spanish.
Making SUcculent SUccus (juice) from SUcculent or juicy apples full of SUcrose or sweet SUgars.
SAVY gourmands know that to EAT slowly, from serving POTS designed to keep foods warm, makes meals more PALATABLE and POTABLE. To SUP or SIP SOUP with gusto will enhance any SUPPER, particularly if time is taken for LIBATIONS and TOASTS.
Some potables are nutritious, others are poison.
Saliva also enters into the sphere of desires as in "LICK your LIPS" or "KISSES", which point toward appetites which may end in OBESITY or LECHEry.

OSCULATE, it could be said, describes KISSING. Os and OSculum in Latin stand for "mouth like opening" delineated by "lips that touch". LIP or ORAL contact we call KISS and in most cultures such represents a greeting, reverence and adoracion. In fact, the view of KISS as an expression of tenderness is quite ancient, nearly universal and mostly viewed as "natural". The Hittites called KISSing KUWass. Ancient poets like Ovid reminds us that Venus offered to Mercury a reward of "seven kisses from the mouth" if he could return Psyche from HELL or HADES. Shakespeare, perahps inspired by Ovid, made Romeo declare to Juliet -

"My lips -
Two blushing pilgrims ready stand
to smooth that touch rough
with a tender kiss ..." .
Sips and Kisses
When "kiss" is described as a CATAglossia, such action represents a cultural CATAstrophe that only some CATAmites would welcome. For others, kissing is a "disease spreading" and would gladly welcome a CATAbasis or downfall of kissing. Fortunately, poets like Virgil, Ovid, Shakespeare and countless other, have avoided kissing to SLIP and SLIDE toward an emphasis on its SLIMY nature. A current treand spread by rulers of commercialized "entertainment", is to portray kissing as if it is mostly "sucking and biting" of lips and tongue with an ovetone of agression and violence. Apparently, this sort of "kiss-violence" and ugliness, devoid of tenderness and affection, are not actively promoted by the "media". Such "better business" strategies are also expanded by linking kissing with LECHEry. The connection with LECHE or milk in Spanish is provocative and reinforced by "LYZUN" in Ukrainian for LINGUAL LICK and suggestive of fellow, fellowship and fellatio.
A high expression of Charity is to mother and suckle the children of others.
The notions is kiss are obviously complex and trigger personal reactions which the above exposition may provoke readers to expand their own.
