Chrysippus was a stoic philosopher most interested in logic and physics - a divine reason, Logos, governs the universe - there is no motion without cause - fate is predetermined but ... we have freedom - Chrisippus "patch" of this conundrum is by the notion "co-fate" implying complexities within which we have some freedom - our fate, for example, is to die but how, when, etc. we may to some degree influence - we have the freedom to consult our "Doctor".
